



Jack joined the project in June of 2001 as minority partner in Dragon Development LLC with principal owner Ron Kuhlman. He overhauled the business plan from a high end public course and community (The Dragon) to the current refundable non equity Legend at Brandybrook private club and community. Prior to joining The Legend, was Vice President of Operations Midwest Region for Meadowbrook and KSL, the third largest owner/operator of golf courses in the United States. Jack oversaw acquisitions and operations of nine properties in Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana. Originally from Austin, Texas, Jack played college golf at the University of Texas and began his golf career in 1978 at Onion Creek Club, the site of the very first PGA Senior tour event, "The Legends of Golf"...now you know where our club name comes from. An active member in the PGA of America, Jack currently resides on the Wisconsin PGA Board of Directors and leads the Patriot Golf Day efforts for the Wisconsin PGA. Jack has qualified for and competed in four PGA tour events. Jack currently holds the Course Record from the Championship tees (65).
Jack, Cindy and daughters Taylor (11) and Isabelle (5) became the first residents of The Legend at Brandybrook on the 11th hole in mid August 2003. Jack's daughter Jenna, 22, works as an Administrative Assistant in a doctor's office in Georgia. Her twin brother, Marine Lance Corporal Jason Gaudion recently deployed for his second tour of duty in Iraq.

The youngest daughter of the Kuhlman family, Risa joined The Legend in 2003 to design the interiors of the clubhouse. She soon fell in love with the vision of The Legend and immersed herself into the club. As Managing Director, Risa not only oversees all the physical aspects of the clubhouse, she also directs all of the food and beverage operations with specific focus on event planning and execution. Prior to joining The Legend, Risa studied interior design at Mount Mary, and was an active volunteer for her church and children’s school. Risa’s background is in Education, specifically Waldorf Education. The Kuhlman family developed, owned and operated the Silver Spring CC from 1987 to 1998. During that time, Risa served in many F&B positions and was the General Manager from 1990-1992. Risa’s passion for building relationships with members has been realized through creating one of a kind private club experiences like the Father-Daughter Ball, Mother’s Day Brunch, Ladies Luncheons or simply enjoying a glass of wine and great conversation in the piano lounge.
Risa is the very proud mother of Mason (18) and Megayn (14). Together they enjoy living at The Legend.

Drew has been with The Legend at Brandybrook since its opening in 2003, and while a student at Carroll College moved up the ranks from overseeing The Legend locker room to most recently serving as The Legend Club’s Communications Director. Drew graduated from Carroll College with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Human Resources, and also has a minor in Organizational Leadership. Drew’s role makes him responsible for among other things the vital lifeline of communications between The Legend and our members. For his fine service over the years, Drew was named the Clubhouse Employee of the Year Award in 2004 and 2005, and in 2007 was awarded the Overall Employee of the Year. Drew’s continued development and performance has led to the expanded operational responsibility of Operations Manager of The Legend Clubs. As Operations Manager, Drew plays a more integral role in the management of all three facilities, while still being directly responsible for all Legend Club communications. Drew’s impact is felt by the growing number of member, staff and vendor needs that come with the tremendous growth and expansion of The Legend Club and Communities.

Sue comes to us with 15 plus years of bookkeeping experience. Sue’s journey began at the Midway Hotel, where she worked her way up from the night auditor to the full time bookkeeper. She was with the company for 11 years when one of the managing partners opened The Hotel Metro. Sue was transferred to the downtown location in 1999 to help get the accounting department running more efficiently. She spent the next 5 yrs as the controller at Hotel Metro where she expanded her accounting knowledge. Sue has been with The Legend for 5 years and was awarded The Legend 2004 Employee of the Year.
Sue lives in the Lake Country area, where her son is enjoying his new school and loves being close to his cousins.

Mick joined the Legend staff as an outside services attendant in the spring of 2003. Since that time Mick has enjoyed many roles from golf course starter or ranger to bartender and dining room host. It’s this immersion in multiple areas of The Legend that provides Mick with a unique understanding of the club and the way members utilize it. Mick’s dedication to The Legend and its members twice earned him the Golf Operation Employee of the Year Award (2003 and 2005) and an overall Legend Employee of the Year Award in 2006. Mick is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a degree in Marketing and a Certificate of International Business.

Mano Kehoss
Tennis Professional
Mano comes to The Legend every summer from the Lake Country Racquet Club where he serves as Director of Tennis. Mano competed in college for the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Mano was the girls tennis team coach at Waukesha South High School in 1996. He was a member of tennis professional staff at the Western Racquet club from 1990 to 1996 when he moved to Lake Country Racquet. A Prince Advisory Staff member, Mano is an active tournament player and has ranked as high as #9 in the state. At the Legend, Mano oversees a professional staff of 4 and plans and executes our adult and junior tennis programs.

Widely renowned as a turf grass expert, Jake possesses over 30 years of agronomic experience. A certified Golf Course Superintendent, Jake came to us from the Wisconsin Dells where he spent the prior 10 years overseeing the renovations of both the Wilderness Resort and Trappers Turn. Jake studied turf grass maintenance at Penn State under Dr. Joe Duich, who developed Penncross bentgrass. Jake joined our team in May of 2002 and supervised irrigation installation and grow-in of our magnificent course. Jake oversees a staff of 20 to 25 employees dedicated to grooming The Legend to tour caliber standards. Thanks to Jake, The Legend's A-4 Bentrgrass putting surfaces are consistently the fastest and smoothest greens in southeast Wisconsin. Area clubs like Westmoor and Erin Hills have taken notice and are planting a series of Bentgrass Greens due to its amazing playability characteristics.
Jake’s family and long time friends reside in Elkhorn.

David is entering his third year as the Head Golf Professional at The Legend and the fifth year on the professional staff. David was honored by Golf Digest as one of the Top 50 Assistants in the Nation in 2004, and was the Wisconsin PGA Assistant Professional of the Year that same year. Before joining The Legend, David was an Assistant at the Golden Horseshoe Resort in Virginia and Trappers Turn in Wisconsin Dells. David won the Wisconsin High School State Golf Championship as a Junior, and went on to play collegiate golf at Division I Wisconsin-Green Bay, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree.
2007 Club President Todd Borgardt says of David, “David’s greatest attribute (and this is the one that really sets him apart) is his attitude towards his career and towards the members of our club. I have never met a more positive, upbeat person in my life. He is always smiling, always offering a kind word, and always finding new ways to make every member’s and guest’s day at The Legend a special experience. And it is truly genuine.” David’s impact on The Legend is undeniable. He was awarded the Golf Operation Employee of the Year Award in 2004 and the Overall Employee of the Year Award in 2005. David was also recently named the 2007 Wisconsin PGA Merchandiser of the Year for Private Clubs.

Andrea joined The Legend’s Culinary Team prior to the club’s opening in 2003. She boasts 13 years of private club experience, and just prior to joining The Legend team, served as the Sous Chef with Butte des Morts Country Club in Appleton, Wisconsin. Andrea served as The Legend’s Sous Chef before being promoted to Chef de Cuisine in the summer of 2007, and Executive Chef in 2009. Having been with The Legend since our opening, Andrea has had an integral part in the success of the growth and success of our food & beverage operation. Andrea has grown tremendously professionally since joining The Legend and is a fantastic leader in our kitchen.

Joel comes to us with extensive high-end private club experience, having spent the last 11 1/2 years at Tuckaway Country Club, where he served as the Assistant Clubhouse Manager in charge of the Food & Beverage operation. Joel's responsibilities included hiring, training, and supervising front of the house food & beverage staff, and he brings that experience to The Legend. Joel received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Majoring in Human Resource Management in 2006. Joel's impact on our operation was felt immediately as he elevated the level of service we offer to our members.
Joel, his wife, and beautiful daughter live on Milwaukee's South Side. He spends his free time mountain biking, fly fishing, and drinking wine.


Josh LePine
Golf Course Superintendent
Josh joined The Legend’s management team in June of 2009 after 12 years as Superintendent at Bristlecone Pines Golf Club. Currently a Certified Golf Course Superintendent, Josh began his career in the golf industry in 1988 at Stoughton Country Club. While pursuing his degree in Soil Science at UW-Madison, Josh was promoted to Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Stoughton CC, where he was extensively involved in a 9-hole expansion project. Recognizing the need for additional experience, Josh completed an internship at the infamous Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York. After completing his Bachelor of Science degree at UW-Madison in 1995, Josh returned to Winged Foot as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. During his tenure, Winged Foot hosted the 79th PGA Championship where Davis Love III won his first major under the rainbow on the 18th hole of the West Course. Being a mid-westerner at heart, Josh left the Big Apple for the opportunity to come home and lead the maintenance department at Bristlecone Pines in 1998.
Josh, his wife and three children reside in Nashotah. When not attending to the golf course and grounds, Josh enjoys fishing, hunting, skiing and shuttling his kids around.

Paul LoCicero
PGA Head Golf Professional
Paul has been a PGA Member since 1993 with over 15 years of Head Golf Professional experience. As a native Wisconsin resident, Paul has former experience at Ozaukee Country Club, Tripoli Country Club, and Oakwood Park Golf Club. Before joining the team at Bristlecone Pines, Paul qualified for the 2003 Greater Milwaukee Open at Brown Deer Park GC. He has qualified for and played in 15 consecutive Wisconsin State Opens, is a 4 time Nelthorpe Cup team member and has played in several National PGA events. Since 2004 Paul served as the Director of Golf & Club Activities at Bristlecone Pines, and we were fortunate to add him to our team as our Head Golf Professional when we acquired Bristlecone in 2009. Paul was awarded the Wisconsin PGA Junior Leader of the Year Award in 2010, making it the second consecutive year a Legend Golf Professional was recognized with that honor (David Bobber, 2009). Paul is currently an officer for the Wisconsin PGA Board of Directors and plays an active role in the PGA of America national committee structure.
Paul has been married to his wife Phyllis for 24 years and they have 3 beautiful girls Emily (20), Claire (16) and Madelin (14).

Jason Woida
Executive Chef
Many original Bristlecone Members may remember Jason from his time during the "heyday" of The Pines, where he served under Executive Chef R.C. Schroeder. Jason is excited to be back in the Bristlecone kitchen as we return it to its past glory. He brings a fresh perspective to Stewart's, the Trophy Room, and our special member social and private events. After his time at The Pines, Jason went on to serve as Executive Chef at Lac La Belle and the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee West, which was awarded the #2 Crowne Plaza in North America during his time there. His extensive resume speaks to tremendous experience and breadth of knowledge he brings to this position.

Deb Moosreiner
Service Manager
Deb has spent her entire career working in the food and hospitality industry and has a comprehensive knowledge of the private club experience. Prior to joining The Legend’s team, she worked at Bristlecone Pines for 10 years. She grew up in a restaurant family and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a business major. Deb has been active in her community with a strong emphasis on children with exceptional needs. Her hobbies include travel, outdoor activities, is an avid downhill skier, enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband and three adult children.
