LIVE THE LEGEND!  Thank you for your interest in The Legend.  The Legend is the only club of its kind in Wisconsin.  The Legend at Brandybrook in Wales opened in the summer of 2003 and in the summer of 2009, we acquired The Legend at Bristlecone, formerly Bristlecone Pines in Hartland.  The Legend is one private club serving its members at two full service facilities complete with two championship golf courses, two signature clubhouses, two pool and tennis complexes and family focused programming focused at our young, vibrant growing membership.  The Legend is the only fully private club offering 100% refundable membership initiation deposits in Metro Milwaukee.  There is simply no other club like The Legend anywhere in Wisconsin or the Midwest.

The property is called The Legend for two reasons: One, as a tribute to the game of golf’s greatest players, including someone I admire, Payne Stewart.  Second, as a benchmark we strive to achieve each and every day.

From the moment this project was conceived, our goal was to create a club and community that was truly legendary.  From our courses—to our clubhouses—to our pools and tennis courts—to the way we treat our members and guests, we do our utmost to make The Legend live up to its name. Our absolute goal is to build a club and community that has no peers and is not only a future model for other properties in Wisconsin, but in the country.  With this in mind we also opened The Legend at Bergamont in Oregon, Wisconsin in 2007, giving Legend Members reciprocal access to a third golf course, clubhouse, and waterpark.  The Legend at Bergamont is fast becoming Dane County’s Premier Club and Community. 

To be legendary means you can never rest on your laurels. To earn the legendary distinction, the great champions we honor—Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus—had to succeed over a lifetime. The same requirement applies to us. Even though we might have “wowed” our members yesterday, we realize it just means we must exceed their expectation today, and tomorrow, and the next day, and for as long as they honor us with their membership. Legendary status also isn’t self-proclaimed. It is bestowed by our members and guests. You decide whether the distinction applies and we relish the challenge of convincing you.
