Points were earned throughout the season for both participation and performance, and the top 5 point winners played off for the Grand Prize of a trip to Germany for Oktoberfest in 2011 compliments of Hofbrau! 2010 Shop Shootout
Matt Essmann, Jason Rowe, Josh Chiaverotti, Eric Molzahn, Kurt Mantyla & Nick Byom

Through the generous support of our Members, we were able to raise over $15,000 for the 2010 Shop Shootout benefiting The Legend's Assistant Golf Professional Staff and many other Golf Support Staff! Teaching Professional Kurt Mantyla took home first place in the Shootout!

Team Gaudion Wins The Legend Cup
After two days, many great matches and countless incredible shots, Team Gaudion defeated Team LoCicero in the 2010 Legend Cup by a score of 21 1/2 to 20 1/2. Congratulations to all participants on a well-played tournament--it took a wedge shot to three feet on the last hole in the last group to make the difference - what an exciting finish!

1st Annual Legendary Shootout Raises $7,000
The 1st Annual Legendary Shootout was created by Legend Members as part of The Legend Cup to celebrate the memory of Legend Member Mikey Heckenkamp. The Legend Cup was always Mikey's favorite Club Event, and he was always there cheering on his dad with his ever-present smile and great attitude. Through the Shootout and the support of our fantastic members, we were able to raise $7,000 for the Heckenkamp's to donate to the charity of their choice. Mikey was never more present at the event than he was this year, as evidenced by Joe's play and some of the miracle shots that went in this weekend. You will always be in our hearts and an integral part of this event, Mikey.

Swanson & Brayman Win The Tradition
Congratulations to Brett Swanson & Scott Brayman on their victory in the 2010 Tradition Member/Member. Swanson and Brayman defeated Jim Brent and Matt Stricker on the second playoff hole after carding a two-round total of 9 under par 133.

Eddie Terasa Wins the Wisconsin State Open at Bristlecone
Congratulations to North Hills Country Club's Head Golf Professional Eddie Terasa on winning the Wisconsin State Open, hosted this year at The Legend at Bristlecone. Terasa beat Dan Woltman and Charlie Delzman on the first playoff hole to claim his third State Open Title. The Legend's Co-Owner Jack Gaudion finished tied for 26th with a four round total of 290, and Bristlecone Assistant Golf Professional Nick Byom finished in a Tie for 60th. Other Legend Members and Staff who qualified for the event included Rob Retzlaff, Sam Frank, Paul LoCicero, Kurt Mantyla, and John Gaschke.

Congratulations to Matt Ross!
Congratulations to Legend Member Matt Ross, who recently won the 15-16 year old division at the WSGA State Junior Boys Championship, hosted at Tuckaway Country Club. Matt also took second place overall with a 54-hole score of 5-under 211. Matt was the only player in the field of 192 players to break par all three rounds. Congratulations, Matt!

PGA Tour Pro Mark Wilson Visits The Legend!

Members of the Kettle Moraine and Arrowhead Golf Teams were treated to a round of golf with PGA Tour Pro Mark Wilson in recognition of their efforts in raising money for the MACC Fund. Congratulations to both teams for their work on and off the course!

Congratulations Matt Miller & Tony Federspill!
Congratulations to Matt Miller and Tony Federspill on winning the 2010 Mercedes Dealer Championships! Mr. Miller and Mr. Federspill beat out Joe Stippich and Paul George in a four-hole Shootout to determine the Champion after events at Bristlecone and Brandybrook earlier in the day! Mr. Miller & Federspill advance to the Sectional Championship at Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, California and will play for a chance to compete in the National Championship in Augusta during Masters Week 2011! Congratulations!

Legend Members Raise over $34,000 for Folds of Honor
Members of the United States Marines in attendance at the Patriot Cup.

Through participation in the first ever Patriot Cup and contributions from those unable to participate, Legend Members raised over $34,000 in this one day event for the Folds of Honor Foundation. Thank you all for your support of our Troops!

The Legend Ladies' rallied to raise $44,000 for the Susan G. Komen Rally for a Cure! Congratulations to all the Legend Ladies and Guests who supported this great cause!

Andy & Tim Bell win The Tradition!
Tim Bell rattled his second shot off the flagstick and within a foot on the first playoff hole and tapped in for a net Eagle to best Glen Schott & Pete Schueller's net Birdie and win the 2009 Tradition Member/Member. Congratulations to Team Bell/Bell and all of this year's participants on one of the most tightly contested tournaments in Legend history!
