Group Swim Lessons

Group swim lessons at The Legend are a fun way for your child to learn to swim.  Each session will have an early (9:35-10:15 a.m.) and late (10:20-11:00 a.m. class time. Each class will have a maximum of 40 swimmers which will be filled as registrations are received. We will do our best to accommodate your requested class time. All members will be contacted prior to the first day of class with assigned class time. Ease session includes six 40-minute classes meeting on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Swim level and skill descriptions are available with the registration information to help you register your child in the appropriate level. There will be 5 sessions offered this summer. The fee is $50.00 per child per session. Only lessons cancelled due to weather will be made up.  Refunds can not be made after the first day of class.

Private Swim Lessons


Private swim lessons are an option for members that prefer more personal attention, have special needs or have scheduling conflicts with the group swim lesson schedule. Private swim lessons are limited to a maximum of 2 persons in the lesson. To request a private lesson, please contact The Legend's Aquatics Director. The fee is $30.00 per 30 minute lesson.



Sea Dragons Swim Team


Mission Statement
The Legend at Brandybrook Sea Dragons Swim Team is a summer recreational swim team for the children of our members.

Providing a safe, fun, and positive experience that promotes individual self esteem, team pride, and good sportsmanship is the priority of the coaching staff.

This will be accomplished by close supervision and training by qualified staff, social interactions, team building, goal setting, and positive reinforcement. We will strive to maintain an atmosphere of mutual respect for coaches, team members, parents and other swim teams.

We will provide an opportunity for children to improve their swimming endurance and skills during practices.

Competing will be encouraged but not required. Improving personal goals will be the primary focus of competitions and achieving personal victories will be celebrated.

A winning team will be determined by attitude. A successful season will be measured by the number of new friendships and fond memories that are made.

This is our mission and pledge to you.

The Sea Dragons swim team at The Legend is designed to introduce young swimmers to the fundamentals of efficient, competitive swimming with the opportunity to show what they have learned during swimming competitions. The emphasis is on learning new skills, feeling successful, having fun and fostering an interest in the sport of swimming. Practices are designed to be fun, educational and motivating. The swim team will meet the needs of both experienced and inexperienced competitive swimmers.

To be eligible to join the swim team, swimmers should be at or above the level 3 skills in the lessons program. All interested members will need to be evaluated prior to the first day of practice. During the evaluations, swimmers will be placed into one of three levels based on skill and strength. There are scheduled competitions during the summer for members of the team, however participation is optional.
