2025 SUMMER SWIM LESSONS

Swim programming is open to all Legend Members as well as Merrill only members.

If a swimmer turns 5 before Sept 1st, 2025, they have the option of group swim lessons or private swim lessons. If a swimmer turns 5 after Sept 1st, 2025, they have the option of private swim lessons only to ensure top quality classes.

Both Legend pools will be using the American Red Cross swimming lesson sequence. Lessons are designed for swimmers of all ages to feel comfortable in the water and more importantly SAFE in and around any pool or aquatic setting.  

Each level includes training in basic water safety, helping others in emergencies, as well as stroke development and refinement.

The Sea Dragons Swim Team is designed to introduce young swimmers to the fundamentals of efficient, competitive swimming with the opportunity to show what they have learned during swimming competitions. The emphasis is on learning new skills, feeling successful, having fun, and fostering an interest in the sport of swimming. Practices are designed to be fun, educational, and motivating. The swim team will meet the needs of both experienced and inexperienced swimmers between the ages of 6 and 15.

Previous swimming experience is not necessary! The only requirement is that your child is able to swim the length of the pool unassisted.
The Legend has an experienced coaching staff and welcomes novice as well as the more experienced swimmer.
